At Smile with Pride Dental Care we believe in investing in the training and development of our dental care professionals and are proud to say we have a highly qualified and friendly nursing team and practice management team
All our dentists adhere to the strict guidelines governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".
Associate dentists are self-employed, independent contractors and are personally responsible for the treatment they provide.

Dr Ravi Patel graduated as a dentist in 1979 and has been a Joint Partner at Smile with Pride Dental Care for the last thirty-five years. As you can imagine, this has given him a tremendous amount of general practice experience making him one of our practice's most knowledgeable and skilled dentists. His commitment to the community of Woolwich and surrounding boroughs is clear when one looks at the vast number of loyal patients he treats. Ravi is available at Smile with Pride on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dr Dharmen Patel qualified from Cardiff University in 2005 and has been an associate dentist at Smile with Pride Dental Care for ten years. With his youth he brings alternative ways of thinking and planning making him a valuable asset to the practice. He has recently completed a Master of Science in Implantology from the University of Warwick, the much coveted Aspire Dental Restorative course and the innovative wy10 teeth whitening course.
Dharmen’s excellent surgical skills are essential for his keen interest in using dental implants to replace missing teeth.

Hiren completed his undergraduate dental training at the King's College London in 2010 and has been Smile with Pride’s Director for 5 years. Since graduation Hiren worked in general dental practice in Old Street for a year but soon found he was eager to consolidate his knowledge and skills by undergoing specialist training. Hiren also has a part-time role at Bart's and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he teaches implant prosthodontics to postgraduate specialist trainee dentists.
Hiren is available Mondays and Fridays
Dr Socorro Riley (BDS)

Socorro has been working as a health care professional for over 25 years now and has a holistic approach to care. Her knowledge and skill has led her to become Smile with Pride's General and Medical Aesthetics Practitioner.
Her interest in facial aesthetics stems from having seen how dental aesthetics and smile makeovers have changed people’s lives through improved self-esteem and increased confidence.

Dr Lynn Ooi (BDS)

Lynn graduated from King’s College London with Honors in 2017. She has worked in both primary and secondary care in London and Cardiff. She is currently working part time at King’s College Hospital on the Acute Emergency Dental Care department. She is also pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate at University of Cambridge. She enjoys providing direct composite veneers and endodontics.
Apart from dentistry, Lynn enjoys outdoor activities and is a keen volleyball and beach volleyball player.
Lynn is available on select Saturdays.
Dr Shaili Shah

Shaili graduated from Masaryk University, Czech Republic in 2021 giving her knowledge and experience of dentistry both inside and out of the UK.
Shaili enjoys all areas of general dentistry and takes a keen interest in educating her patients about the importance of dental disease prevention. She has a very warm and kind approach to patients making them feel at ease and comfortable throughout their treatment.
Apart from dentistry, Shaili enjoys travelling and art.
Shaili is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Sabrina Shao

Sabrina graduated from King’s College London in 2017. She enjoys providing dentistry in a calm and gentle manner to make her patients feel at ease. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She also currently works part-time for King’s College Hospital as part of the Community Special Care Dental team. This gives her excellent experience in the management of nervous patients and those in high need of dental care.
Outside of dentistry, Sabrina enjoys running, travelling and trying new restaurants.
Sabrina is available on Thursdays and Fridays.
Sony Shrestha

Sony is Smile with Pride Dental Care’s lifeline. She has helped develop and grow the practice into what it is today – a place where our patients can be treated effectively, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.
She began her career as a dental nurse in 2010 and obtained National Certificate in Dental Nursing (NEBDN) in 2011. She went on to achieve BA(Hons) in Business Management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2016 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of West of Scotland in 2017.
Lucinda Dodoo
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

Lucinda qualified Kings College Hospital where she gained her dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Lucinda is passionate about promoting preventive oral health care and treating gum disease. Day to day, she provides routine hygiene treatments, as well as managing complex cases of gum disease.
As a therapist, Lucinda is also able to provide some restorative dental treatments for adults and children.
Eriko Kajikuri
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN 2021
Eriko qualified as a dentist from Kyushu Dental University, Japan in 2010. Following her move to London, she has worked as a dental nurse and is registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist.
Eriko is passionate about preventive dentistry including promoting oral health care, treating gum disease and preventing dental caries. She can provide effective, tailored oral health care instructions on a range of topics including brushing methods and dietary advice using her extensive experience in dentistry.

Smile with Pride values our nurses tremendously. They are the life and soul of the practice and help it run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Suchita, Sadaf, Sabita and Supani are all experienced nurses and boast excellent communication skills, attention to detail and teamwork which makes Smile with Pride a friendly and relaxing place to be.
