All our dentists adhere to the strict guidelines governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".

Associate dentists are self-employed, independent contractors and are personally responsible for the treatment they provide.

Dr Ravi Patel graduated as a dentist in 1979 and has been a Joint Partner at Smile with Pride Dental Care for the last thirty-five years. As you can imagine, this has given him a tremendous amount of general practice experience making him one of our practice's most knowledgeable and skilled dentists. His commitment to the community of Woolwich and surrounding boroughs is clear when one looks at the vast number of loyal patients he treats. Ravi is available at Smile with Pride on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dr Dharmen Patel qualified from Cardiff University in 2005 and has been an associate dentist at Smile with Pride Dental Care for ten years. With his youth he brings alternative ways of thinking and planning making him a valuable asset to the practice. He has recently completed a Master of Science in Implantology from the University of Warwick, the much coveted Aspire Dental Restorative course and the innovative wy10 teeth whitening course.
Dharmen’s excellent surgical skills are essential for his keen interest in using dental implants to replace missing teeth.

Hiren completed his undergraduate dental training at the King's College London in 2010 and has been Smile with Pride’s Director for 5 years. Since graduation Hiren worked in general dental practice in Old Street for a year but soon found he was eager to consolidate his knowledge and skills by undergoing specialist training. Hiren also has a part-time role at Bart's and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he teaches implant prosthodontics to postgraduate specialist trainee dentists.

Dr Socorro Riley (BDS)

Socorro has been working as a health care professional for over 25 years now and has a holistic approach to care. Her knowledge and skill has led her to become Smile with Pride's General and Medical Aesthetics Practitioner.

Her interest in facial aesthetics stems from having seen how dental aesthetics and smile makeovers have changed people’s lives through improved self-esteem and increased confidence.
Dr Arpita Patel (BDS MFDS RCS(Ed))

Arpita qualified in 2012 from Guys & Kings Dental institute, London. She completed her vocational training in Beckenham for one year and has worked at NHS/private practices in Sussex and South East London for 7 years.

Arpita has a caring and friendly approach and offers a wide range of treatment options within general dentistry.
​
Outside of dentistry she enjoys travelling the world and spending time with her family.
​
Arpita is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Shaili Shah

Shaili graduated from Masaryk University, Czech Republic in 2021 giving her knowledge and experience of dentistry both inside and out of the UK.

Shaili enjoys all areas of general dentistry and takes a keen interest in educating her patients about the importance of dental disease prevention. She has a very warm and kind approach to patients making them feel at ease and comfortable throughout their treatment.

Apart from dentistry, Shaili enjoys travelling and art.

Shaili is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Olga Popova

Olga is a general dentist that is committed to delivering exceptional care while making patients at ease. She completed her dental degree from University of Bristol in 2023 and following graduation worked in dental practice in Crayford. Olga is passionate about preventive and endodontic/root canal treatments. Beyond dentistry, Olga enjoys connecting with friends and family over game nights and cooking. Olga is available on Thursdays and Fridays.
Hrisith Choksi

Hrisith (known to his friends, colleagues and patient as ‘Choksi’) completed his undergraduate training in India (2007) before coming to the UK for his MSc in Dental Public Health (MSc DPH) at the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Diploma in Dental Public Health (DDPH) at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He started his implant journey in 2012 and completed his Diploma in Implant Dentistry (FGDP) in 2017.
Meera Samani

Meera graduated with Honours in Dentistry from King’s College London in 2010 and quickly developed a passion for oral surgery. She gained wide-ranging surgical experience at Guy’s Dental Hospital and King’s Dental Institute, where she completed specialist training and achieved her MOralSurg qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2017. Meera now works as a Consultant in Oral Surgery at Eastman Dental Hospital, caring for patients with a wide range of complex needs, including osteonecrosis of the jaw. Meera also enjoys mentoring postgraduate dentists and is known for her gentle, reassuring manner that helps patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
Sony Shrestha

Sony is Smile with Pride Dental Care’s lifeline. She has helped develop and grow the practice into what it is today – a place where our patients can be treated effectively, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.
​
She began her career as a dental nurse in 2010 and obtained National Certificate in Dental Nursing (NEBDN) in 2011. She went on to achieve BA(Hons) in Business Management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2016 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of West of Scotland in 2017.
Uli Nascimento

Uli graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) and later completed a postgraduate degree in Implantology. She gained international experience through an academic exchange in Spain and is now registered and working as a Dental Therapist in the UK. She is particularly skilled in helping nervous patients feel at ease with a calm and empathetic approach. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, running, and exploring new fitness classes around London.

Priscilla Peixoto

Priscilla, a Dentistry graduate from the University of Vale of Paraiba, Sao Paulo, since 2008, now works as a Dental Therapist and Orthotherapist in London. Her approach centers on the power of prevention for oral health, offering a cheerful and enjoyable dental experience for patients.

In her free time outside of Dentistry, Priscilla enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants, staying active, spending quality time with her family, watching series, and actively participating in her faith and church community.

​Priscilla is available on Mondays.
Our incredible nurses
Smile with Pride values our nurses tremendously. They are the life and soul of the practice and help it run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Suchita, Supani, Victoria, Alisha, Sangita and Ruqia are all experienced nurses and boast excellent communication skills, attention to detail and teamwork which makes Smile with Pride a friendly and relaxing place to be.
